For certificated organisations IiE’s main services are:

Part B assessments

Conditional re-assessments

We also offer specialist applicant training courses for both types of assessment – both courses are strongly recommended for organisations going through these assessments for the first time. Click here for the latest dates.

Re-assessments due to merger

Organisations are constantly changing and for training providers that may find themselves merging with or acquiring another body, we offer a re-assessment service to bring all parts of the new organisation into scope.

About Conditional re-assessments

Conditional re-assessments are a key activity for IiE. While TQS certification lasts for three years, many organisations are awarded conditional certification which requires a re-assessment within 12 months.

The conditional re-assessment process involves submitting an application containing fresh evidence for the strategy (A.0 or B.0) and results (A.5 or B.3) indicators. To retain their certification the provider must score at least 25% in the results indicators.

An assessor - usually the lead assessor for your original Part A assessment – completes a desktop review before coming on site to verify the evidence. The revised result scores (in A.5 or B.3) are then added to the original scores for the Approaches indicators.

If the new score is 550 or above then full certification is granted for the final two years. If the score is below 550 but the provider has achieved a score of at least 25% in each Results indicator then the provider will retain its conditional certification and is expected to go through another re-assessment within a further 12 months.
